A classmate of mine got upset at an instructor because he used the word “pussy” and my classmate did not agree with the idea that the female genitalia be used in a context that demeans its strength.
Which made me think that I’d be more upset that the vagina is being called such an unfitting word. Weird looking as it may be, the vagina is a beautiful piece of the human machine. "Pussy" just makes me think of something cantankerous and full of boils.
Though there are many a vagina out there that are cantankerous and foil of boils…
Yup. College education at work, my parents would be proud.
What dictates your decisions? If you do a potentially "bad" thing, like smoking weed (I mean, not really, but you get my point), would your friend's/family's opinion of you hold you back, or would you go on and do it despite their opinions because you want to do what you want and if they were your friend than they will still care for you? I'm having a moral conundrum.
Personally, I don’t abstain from those things because of the opinions of my family and friends.
However, I’m certain that they would love me either way. They know that I’m an adult and my choices are well thought out.
“Oh my god. Will this ever end? Music catered to small small children that never heard a proper hardcore band. This is just another boyband. Maybe it is more appropriate to compare it with the 90s Hairmetal. Music that claimed some sort of metal stamp but was just super commercial and substanceless music. Yeah, that’s what is happening. Music has no meaning, no substance. It just about haircuts and tattoos. We are living in horrible times.”—Dennis from Refused, talking about Chunk! No Captain Chunk (via onemonoculture)
